<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAbstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Accident cases in Indonesia are increasing every year; the latest data in 2018 are 157.313 cases of work accidents. Higher Education Laboratory is a place of testing or practicum for students in developing knowledge and skills in learning. The laboratory has potential dangers that can be dangerous for the students during teaching and learning. The laboratory is inseparable from the potential danger or even the risk of work accidents from laboratory equipment and materials. Efforts to prevent and minimize workplace accidents in the laboratory by implementing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and increasing knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). This study aims to determine the relationship of OSH knowledge and application of JSA in the Environmental Quality Laboratory to workplace accidents. This research is a type of quantitative research, the analytic observational method using a cross-sectional design, and the sample in this study were 165 respondents who had inclusion and exclusion criteria. Statistical test results between the application of JSA with work accident events obtained a p-value of 0,063. This shows that there is no significant relationship between JSA implementation and work accident events. Knowledge of OSH with work accident events obtained p-value of 0,266. There is no significant relationship between OSH knowledge and work accident events. Although statistically, the two variables have no significant relationship, the application of JSA is an effort to prevent and minimize the occurrence of workplace accidents for OSH practitioners and knowledge as the basis for understanding and applying the practice of working in a laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Keywords:<\/strong> K3, laboratorium, keselamatan, JSA<\/p>\n\n\n\n
