Dr. Lady Margaretha Febriany Sirait, MD, MSc. is a physician and public health researcher with extensive experience in health services, research, and programs. She completed her medical education at the Veteran National Development University in Jakarta and earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from Nagoya University, Japan, through a Young Leaders’ Program (MEXT Scholarship). Her career began as a general practitioner and researcher at INA-REPROMED, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, before joining the Jakarta Provincial Health Office. There, she held various strategic positions, such as Program Manager for cancer, hepatitis, and gastrointestinal infections, as well as Head of the Mental Health, Productive Age, and Elderly Health Section. Currently, Dr. Lady serves as Director of Hastari Corp. and is a Public Health Researcher at the EHA Institute in Jakarta. Her research focuses on cancer prevention, reproductive health, and the use of digital technology in public health. Her scientific work has been published in reputable international journals, such as BMC Cancer and Future Healthcare Journal, and she contributed to the preparation of the Technical Guidelines for the Hepatitis B and C Program of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. She also wrote the book “Five Model Pillars for Cervical Cancer Prevention” published by Universitas Indonesia Publishing in 2018. With a combination of clinical, bureaucratic, research, and international experience, Dr. Lady is committed to bridging science and practice to improve public health in Indonesia.
